UFO's

• Hope you had a good Labor Day weekend. I spent mine quilting. I am really enjoying quilting my UFO'S. I really need practice, to get the movement, and stitching in the same timing. I was working on a "therapy in session" wall hanging, so I decided it should look like I am in need of some therapy, ( lol ) and it does. I just have a small amount left to do and I can check another UFO off my list, boy does that feel good. Well better get back too it, Happy Quilting! Pam

My First Blog

I have been enjoying, all of the Quilter's blogs, that I have been reading, since I joined the "Good Ol Summertime Quilt Swap". So I decided to start one of my own.
I just recently started Quilting again I hadn't done any since 2005. A complicated life, along with several illnesses and other factors lead to my closing the door on my sewing room. When I found Ustream and the Sparrow Family, I got that "I want to sew again feeling" so I decided to open the door of my once sewing room (boy was it dusty in there). I have cleaned the room out, found my UFO'S, set up my New Janome Quilter's dream machine that I purchased a few years ago, and started in. So my summer swap quilt is done, my friendship bag, is done and waiting a few goodies. I finished a UFO yesterday (hip hip hooray) got another one pinned tonight and ready to quilt. I have also been working on a 1930's Hexagon that I have been sewing by hand, and I am enjoying every minute of it. I am looking forward to seeing all the projects that you are working on, and getting new inspiration.
