Happy New Year!!!!

I did not want to miss this chance
on the last day of the year
to say
Happy New Year
and to send you my very best wishes for 2010!.
This year has been quit a year
I found online quilting and blogging
and oh the swaps I have enjoyed.
To say that my personal life has had many ups and downs
is an understatement.
In the last days what seemed like a huge hurtle is no longer a hurtle at all.
I find myself making plans for the new year that I was not sure I would ever be making.
I am so grateful to all the quilters I have meet,
and the new ones I have yet to meet.
I am excited to see what 2010 brings into my life.
One thing is for sure there will be fabric and color and creativity.
I am so excited I can hardly wait and I have not felt like this in a long long time.
so,
from my home to yours,
Happy Quilting,
and the very best of wishes to you all in 2010!!!!!

Back to sewing

I haven't been sewing the past few weeks, and my internet was out, but it is fixed now and I have been sewing again as well.  It feels good to be creating and I have done several blocks tonight, for the sometimes crafter quilt along, as well as a Christmas block of the week from Stitchin Heaven in Texas.  The quilt has templates and I was a bit leary about purchasing them.  After using them I have completely changed my mind, I like the precise cutting that you get from them.  I would say that the templates are worth purchasing, especially if you are like me and have carpel tunnel issues.
               Happy Thanksgiving to You All!!!!!!!!!!!

UFO's

  • Hope you had a good Labor Day weekend. I spent mine quilting. I am really enjoying quilting my UFO'S. I really need practice, to get the movement, and stitching in the same timing. I was working on a "therapy in session" wall hanging, so I decided it should look like I am in need of some therapy, ( lol ) and it does. I just have a small amount left to do and I can check another UFO off my list, boy does that feel good. Well better get back too it, Happy Quilting! Pam
